You can still use a GlobalGo Mobile eSIM while traveling, even if you already have an eSIM set up with your home provider.
Let’s break it down based on two key questions:
1. Do you want to keep your home number active while abroad?
2. Does your phone support dual eSIM or Dual SIM (eSIM + physical SIM)?
Option 1: You don’t need your home number active
If staying active on your home number isn’t a priority during your trip:
1. You can temporarily disable your home eSIM in your phone’s settings.
2. Then just install and activate your GlobalGo Mobile eSIM.
Once you're back home, simply turn your home eSIM back on.
Option 2: You want to stay active on your home number
If it’s important to stay connected to your home number (for calls, texts, or two-factor logins), you’ve got a couple of options:
Your phone supports dual eSIM (like iPhone 13 or newer)
Great! You can install the GlobalGo Mobile eSIM for mobile data,
while keeping your home eSIM active for calls and texts.
Your phone supports one eSIM + one physical SIM
In that case, if your eSIM slot is already taken, you can:
1. Use a physical SIM card from GlobalGo (just select this option at checkout),
2. Remove your home eSIM temporarily if you prefer to use ours digitally.
What about WhatsApp?
You can keep using your usual WhatsApp number, even if you're using GlobalGo Mobile for mobile data. Your number stays linked to your account.
