If your camera can’t scan the QR code or you prefer to do it manually, no problem. You can still install your GlobalGo eSIM using the manual setup method.
In the email you received with your QR code, we also included everything you need for manual setup:
-SM-DP+ address
-Activation code
It usually looks like this:
SM-DP+ address: rsp***com
LPA: AA3***333
Here’s how to do it:
For IPhone (IOS devices):
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular)
3. Tap Add Data Plan (Add eSIM)
4. Click on the "Use QR"
5. Choose "Enter Details Manually"
6. Enter the info from the email:
-SM-DP+ Address: consumer.rsp.globalgo
-Activation Code: the code shown in your email
Follow the prompts and wait a few moments for activation. Once it’s done, your eSIM will be ready to use!
For Android devices:
The steps may vary slightly depending on the model, but here’s the general idea:
1. Open Settings
2. Tap Connections or Network & Internet
3. Tap SIM Card Manager or Mobile Network
4. Tap Add Mobile Plan
5. Choose Scan Carrier QR Code (don’t worry, we’re going to enter it manually)
6. Tap Enter Activation Code Manually
Now input the full code as shown in your email, for example:
LPA:AA3***333
Tap Confirm or Add, and wait for your phone to finish setting up the plan.
